1. General
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Birdy mobile application (“App”), a disc golf scoring and social platform. Through the App you can track casual rounds, discover courses, connect with friends, take part in ranked mini-competitions, and view leaderboards and statistics. The App is operated and developed by Birdy Golf OÜ, registered address: Värava, Leina küla, Häädemeeste vald, Pärnu maakond, 86504, Estonia.

Using the App means you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The App is free to download and use. Birdy Golf OÜ may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Account and registration
To use the App you must create an account with your email address and name, or sign in with Google or Apple. You may add a profile picture and other optional profile details.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

If you are under 18, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. What the App offers
The App currently includes, among other things:
– Casual round scoring and round history;
– Live scoring and round sharing with friends;
– Ranked mini-competitions matched with other players;
– A ranking ladder based on ranking points (RP);
– Leaderboards, statistics, achievements, and weekly challenges;
– Course discovery, maps, and user-submitted course information;
– In-app notifications, friend connections, and lobby chat for ranked matches.

Features may vary by region, device, or app version. Birdy Golf OÜ does not guarantee that any particular feature will always be available.

4. Ranked mini-competitions and fair play
Ranked mini-competitions are free to join. They are matched automatically based on availability, selected courses, time windows, and skill rating. Results affect your RP and league position according to in-app rules.

You agree to:
– Enter honest scores for every hole you play;
– Start and finish ranked rounds within the time windows shown in the App;
– Treat other players respectfully in chat and notifications.

Birdy Golf OÜ may adjust RP, void results, cancel matches, or apply other in-app penalties if you fold late, fail to start on time, submit incorrect scores, or otherwise break ranked or fair-play rules

5.User-submitted content
You may suggest or add course information in the App. Submitted courses may require approval before they are visible to all users. You confirm that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe third-party rights.

Birdy Golf OÜ may edit, reject, or remove user-submitted content at its discretion.

6. Acceptable use
You must not:
– Provide false identity or profile information;
– Deliberately enter false scores or manipulate rankings;
– Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with matchmaking or scoring;
– Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
– Create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage;
– Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the App or its backend;
– Use the App for unlawful purposes.

If you break these rules, Birdy Golf OÜ may remove content, apply in-app penalties, temporarily ban, or permanently close your account and block future accounts linked to you.

7. Health and safety
Disc golf involves physical activity and outdoor play. You are responsible for your own safety, equipment, and compliance with local laws and course rules. Birdy Golf OÜ is not liable for injuries, property damage, or other harm arising from playing disc golf or using course information from the App.

8. Intellectual property
All App content, design, software, branding, and data structures belong to Birdy Golf OÜ or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit App content without written permission.

Your round data and profile content remain yours, but you grant Birdy Golf OÜ a licence to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the App, including showing scores to friends, opponents, and on leaderboards according to your settings and App functionality.

9.Availability, liability, and changes
The App is provided “as is”. Birdy Golf OÜ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and is not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or mistakes in user-entered information.

To the extent permitted by law, Birdy Golf OÜ’s total liability relating to the App is limited to EUR 50 or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is higher.

10. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time in the App. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, stats, friends, and round history as described in the App.

Birdy Golf OÜ may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

12. Changes to these Terms
Birdy Golf OÜ may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account.

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved in Estonian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise.
